They are both going to need to be more careful. Its one thing for them to pull this crap in America but to start doing it in another country this brazenly. That's asking for very serious trouble.

I'm Australian and Nigel was here a few weeks ago asking people to PAY to hear him talk crap and nonsense. I don't know how it went and don't care so long as he stays the hell out of my country. I have no idea how anyone gives him the slightest credibility. He won the vote and then immediately resigned and left the mess he created for other people to deal with. That showed he had no plan and didn't believe the vote would go as it did. I think he's one of these pompous clowns who uses some perceived grievance to rally people around. A classic populist. I don't think he really wanted Britain to leave because while it stayed he had his soap box to stand on and could blame Brussels for anything and everything. Suddenly when he was confronted with responsibility he ran away.

@peabody3000 You are right it doesn't invalidate the complaints but it does show how ignorant of the reality of the rest of the world Americans are. Too many drank the Superman Koolaid of "Truth, Justice and the American Way." Where ever he went POTUS was introduced as "The Leader of the Free World." Try going anywhere in the world these days and saying that. If you're lucky and in a polite place like Canada they'll just laugh at you. In other places - NO. Too many Americans forget that while they think their government can't be trusted the agencies of their government (CIA, NSA,...) do all sorts of stuff around the world. Its one of the weirdest things on the planet. There are millions of Americans who wont trust what their government does inside America but do trust what their government does outside America. Its really is a bizarre from of cognitive dissonance and disconnect.
