Yes he's quite wrong on a few things like it was Soviet Russia that collapsed and Marxism was never close to successful in America. BUT on several points there's stuff that is now scary reality. It was those parts of the media - the Televangelists, the conspiracy promoters and most of all the right wing political outlets with their commentators selling opinion as fact who were doing the real damage. Its most obvious in America but its happening across the entire Western World.

  2. DON'T FORGET voting in America is voluntary and in these situations who's MOTIVATED to turn up? One thing all of the right wing parties across the Western World know is that older people who have assets are MOTIVATED to protect them. Its why older people mostly vote for the party that SAYS they will protect their assets and/or their way of life. Its the same across the Western World. I know he is a pig of a human being but listen to some of Rick Wilson's (no relation) comments about what motivates people and how he advised contenders to win elections (and he won a lot). He was the one who said old people will drag their oxygen bottles down to the booth while younger people wont get out of bed BECAUSE of how motivated they are to protect what they perceive as their way of life. Larry Elder for all the garbage he represents also represents a section of the community who ARE MOTIVATED to turn up and vote.
