@monopalle5768 As I said previously and other have said he's fine professor and teacher and there's great content out there of his university lectures. BUT when he strays into fields that he clearly does NOT understand then he tends to fall flat on his face.

1: For starters I have never seen or heard ANYBODY involved in the climate debate put it in the "its about everything." 2: I am an aerospace engineer by training and we are formally taught mathematical modelling and how you need to simplify things down to a point where you can actually create code and run simulations. If I tried to explain what has to happen with aerodynamic modelling it would take months. You have to simplify models or you can't do the job. Where it goes wrong at time is when people DON'T check their model against experimental data. Computer simulations are approximations NOT facts and many engineers and scientists forget that fact and get things wrong. I would like to be clear - Jordan Peterson is very good on his actual expertise which is psychology. Go watch any of his class room videos and you'll find he has been a very good university lecturer and professor. But that does not make him an expert on climate or any other of the hard sciences - chemistry, physics or engineering.

@shacktime Go back and look at his college lectures. If you want to talk about the difference between then and now fine but don't be an idiot, the world has an oversupply of them already.

@shacktime Yeah people claim that all the time. Neil deGrasse Tyson made the point recently that there are people who demand (like flat earthers) that they be given EQUAL consideration in public debate. He pointed out that when you have one side that's 99.99% versus 0.01% there's NOTHING EQUAL. In those cases where people just IGNORE reality and or IGNORE what's being said then ITS NOT A DEBATE Arguing reality against bullshite is NOT a DEBATE

@shacktime ITS NOT A DEBATE WHEN YOU IGNORE REALITY. If you want to compare his PAST and PRESENT then fine - that's reasonable. That's what I have tried to highlight. SO EITHER be reasonable or sensible or just FK-OFF.

@dfr6663 AND I HAVEN'T SAID THEY AREN'T. I've put them up as a comparison between what he's been and where he is now. What part of that comparison are you and a couple of others missing? By chance are you another millennial with no life experience who thinks they understand the world. You certainly sound like one.
