Great comment on how far back this idiocy goes. I'm Australian but went to college in America and was there in the late 80s when televangelism was making it way into peoples lives and they started getting caught out like Jim Baker was. Its so sad to see that America has continued down this path to where that many people see Trump as a viable alternative to reality. By the way America isn't alone with this stuff. We have them in Australia too. I was in Canada for work 3 years ago and they have them as well. Go watch the news out of Europe they are everywhere. There's a great meme going around about how the village idiot used to be restricted to the village but now with social media they can link up and spread their idiocy. I think Joe Biden's greatest challenge will be re-engaging these people with reality. So far his hiring of people from Goldman Sachs and McKinsey doesn't make me confident.

@Zom13y Yeah it actually did happen. Don't forget we live in a world where history keeps telling us that groups of people will simply dismiss reality at times and follow the most ridiculous ideas despite all other evidence.
