I'm Australian and we shrug our shoulders at the on going lack of reality in America at the moment. Who was it that sponsored the Mujahadeen in Afghanistan during the 80s and 90s and supplied them with guns, stinger missiles and training before they morphed into the Taliban???? Who was it that LIED to the entire world about WMDs before starting the invasion of Iraq????? Who was it that did all the prisoner abuse stuff at Abu Ghraib (Iraq) and Bagram AFB (Afghanistan)???? Who was it that OVERTHREW the democratically elected governments of Iran, Guatemala, Indonesia and Chile (to name a few) during the Cold War???? I actually went to college in America. I love the place, its people and culture BUT DAMN YOUR POLITICS IS DISGUSTING. Our politics isn't anything to be proud of either, but yours is some serious next level SHlT.
