  1. You have hit on and describe one of the fundamental issues with these people. At their core they believe that they have the right to do to others whatever they can because they are superior people. Thom Hartmann did a vid a while back about Libertarians and he pointed out how Ayn Rand idolised as her ideal "superman" the murderer William Edward Hickman who killed a young girl for not much other reason than he felt so superior he had the right to kill inferior people. Ayn Rand was fascinated by such people and based the lead character out of an unpublished novel on Hickman. To call Ayn Rand a sociopath is an understatement and bizarrely her books have been fed to generations of American boys idolising a very brutal cold behavior of take what you can when you can. That's one of Thom Hartmann's points.
