Its called working for a multi-billion dollar conglomerate run by one of the nastiest sociopaths in recent centuries. As an Australian I can't apologize for Rupert Murdoch enough (none of us Australians can). He's been at this game for decades where he thinks anything is acceptable so long as he's making money. There's no amount of sleaze he wont exploit if he can make a dollar from it. We tried warning the Brits when he moved there and they didn't listen. We tried to warn America and you didn't listen either. I can see a day coming when we (as in all of us) are going to have to deal with these media people who are just vile propagandists. And its not just people on the right, although they are the most well funded and most vocal, its all of them. We are going to have to deal with all these bad faith actors and I can't see it ending well.
