If you have a look at the table of US states & territories look where Puerto is on the list. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_states_and_territories_of_the_United_States_by_population America should be grateful that many other nations are too stupid to realise how many of America's citizens are denied basic representation.

Why don't you guys have a look at the crap by a clown calling himself rek131 in the thread started by Crmanyan. He's claiming "Puerto Rico doesn't want to become a state." The stupidity of that is: 1: Its claiming that over 3 million people are content with only having 1 person (WHO CAN'T VOTE) represent them in congress. 2: Its lie - since the Hurricanes Puerto Rico has become news around the World for how bad the recovery was. AND ALL of the news stories included calls for becoming a state because in the current system they have no way to influence congress. Its classic right wing colonial "we have to look after the uneducated backwards natives" 🐂💩

@rekcusdoo Really? Since when? There's an awful lot of push for Puerto Rico to become a state and ACTUALLY have Congressional Representation and ACTUALLY be able to vote for who is POTUS. If you haven't checked lately over 3 million Americans get all of 1 person with no voting rights to sit in congress. That doesn't sound very democratic to most of the planet.
