@gregbors8364 Rupert just didn't divide America. He's divided Australia and Britain as well. His business model is based around conflict and arguments and he'll do anything to keep those divisions fuelled up and raging because it makes money.

@godamid4889 Yeah absolutely, but that does that make him a political animal or a business animal that influences politics? And don't forget neo-conservatism is a political ideology while neo-liberalism is an economic ideology. They go hand in hand like non-identical twins. I'm actually an engineer and I spent a chunk of my COVID time looking into economics because I'm tired of economists interfering in projects. The person I found easiest to understand was Mark Blyth who's a political-economist. I'd always though that politics and economics were separate areas of study. In Academia they mainly are but in between them are these people who study them as 2 parts of a whole. its a far more holistic view and that suits my background a lot better. The engineering equivalent is like looking at a motor and gearbox. They are 2 things that do totally different jobs, but in the real world they combine into a working unit. The main CPU in my Laptop and the graphics processor do different jobs in vastly different ways but they are both processors AND you can't have one without the other. So I see neocons and neoliberals the same way I see a motor and gearbox. 2 parts of the whole.

@godamid4889 Before you spout anymore about this. I'm Australian and we know a lot more about Rupert and his family and their history and what they get up to than any American ever FKNG will. We tried warning the Brits when he moved there and they didn't listen. Then we tried warning America and you didn't listen either. AND NOW YOU"RE STILL NOT LISTENING.

@Chris-is6xb Got to agree there. Over the last 20+ years we have had a number of people who's only purpose in parliament was to trash the other side at every opportunity irrespective of how childish or trivial it was. Chief culprit - Christopher Maurice Pyne.

@stella.r2708 Actually no, Rupert would have given Tucker a gig on Sy News. Sky News has people like Andrew Bolt, Peta Credlin, Alan Jones who all have their equivalents on Fox or who are the equivalent on someone on Fox. Sky News is sold to the same fraction of the Australian population that Fox News is sold to the similar fraction of the American population.

@darksesh8247 Fair comment on Western Media but if Ayman al-Zawahiri had died 2 years ago we would have heard about it by now. So take your stupidity and go hide back under your rock.

@gregbors8364 Its hard to say if Rupert actually does or doesn't have a political agenda. He certainly loved Ronald Reagan and though Reaganomics was the best thing ever. He's certainly backed various politicians and political parties but its hard to tell if that was out of a political ideology or a business strategy. Maybe the 2 are so intertwined at times they are the same thing viewed from different perspectives.
