@EmeraldMara85 Gone and done a bit more checking and watched what they said again. Brett Weinstein says he's 90% certain it came out of a lab. I think its the other way round and its only 10% likely it cam out of a lab (at best). It goes to what others said last year there are things about COVID we don't know how to do or at least in published research we don't know how to do it. I think their claim it had to have come from a lab because it is mutating is fundamentally flawed because we see viruses like flu mutating naturally every year. That leaves it as a natural freak meeting in a wet market or a natural freak meeting in a lab. Could it have come from a lab? Maybe but unlikely for the reasons given by other people. The ugly flip of that is that if it did come from a Chinese lab, it wont matter if it was an accident or anything else. The world will retaliate and the Chinese wont take that well and we'll possibly have WW3 to deal with.

@Machistmo Sorry but I missed the episode where he gave his son in law free reign over the security apparatus of a nuclear armed state, while is daughter pranced around the world at tax payer expense doing deals and pretending to know how international diplomacy works. Which season was that?

@EmeraldMara85 Sorry if you have misread that. I put the link up so people could actually hear and see what they said. I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with them and they themselves are NOT being exclusive about anything. I'm actually more inclined that it occurred naturally when the wrong 2 animals got together in the wrong Chinese market place. When the man-made claims were first dismissed it was because EXPERTS felt the virus was beyond anybody's capability to specifically engineer. I still tend to agree on that because last I heard we splice genes to TRY and get certain traits but as for actual redesign like we do for planes trains & automobiles NO. BUT the Weinstein's do make a valid point and that is until we know for sure we should not TOTALLY dismiss anything. Don't forget VX nerve gas was an effectively an accident from pesticide development. There's a possibility that this virus could have come from research and something unexpected happened in a petri dish which has to be plausible if we claim it can ALSO happen in a wet market. I'm certainly not doing any worshipping as you irrationally claimed. I know nothing about your unrelated claims and haven't heard anything about Brett Weinstein shutting a college or claiming election fraud.

@RationallySkeptical Just remember in science a lack of evidence isn't evidence. At this point we don't need to know what might or might not be we need to let the investigators do their job and get us answers.
