What do you think Rachael Maddow and Chris Hayes do? I'm Australian (but went to college in America) so know quite well how much of an absolute piece of filth Rupert Murdoch is. His political power here is staggering and we have 2 ex-Prime Ministers (one from each side Turnbull and Rudd) trying to expose what power he has and break it. Both Rudd and Turnbull were beaten or removed (in Turnbull's case) by pro-Murdoch people.

Well there was that little thing called "Russia Gate." I'm not saying the Russians weren't because the evidence for their interference in both Brexit and the US 2016 elections is overwhelming. But the actual collusion was basically bullshit. The problem for both CNN and MSNBC and some others is that their entire business model was "Trump bad." Not that he wasn't bad, but when you are a news service your task isn't humping opinion its PRESENTING NEWS. Way back in 2004 the documentary OUTFOXED warned that Foxes business model was starting to be copied. The emphasis on opinion over substance had already started, now its so prevalent across the western world we can barely tell the difference.

@sugadagud3093 That's now almost endemic across the Western world. Everything for a lot of our politicians is abut claiming the next news cycle. They don't give a damn about actually doing anything. Just before last years last years US election an Australian TV unit visited Pennsylvania and a middle age guy made one of the great comments where he said "I just want to see the career politicians go away." That's Western politics in a nutshell its riddled with people who's career is about winning news cycles by what ever bullshit works. That really is their career winning news cycles. Look at the claims made by Madison Cawthorn's claim "I have built my staff around comms rather than legislation." WTF does that mean other than "winning news cycles." This is why nothing is getting done about real problems and EVERY country on this planet has real problems.

@meltedsnowman9637 Good comment. Don't forget to mention the newspapers now are also heavily into "Opinion based Journalism being presented as fact." There was a warning way, way back in the documentary Outfoxed that other media outlets were starting to follow Fox down into the gutter.

@motorlife7037 No doubt Fox are way more into the realm of fantasy than MSNBC, CNN,...... But then Fox isn't as bad as Newsmax and OAN either. Farron over at RoF (who I am not a great fan of as he's a bit to much into raging and frustration) did this today. yeah its still a bit too much of rage but he defends the politicians on both sides and slams it hard at the right wing side of the media, which in that subject is fair. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RC0Jqkw1E90
