  1. Not certain on the racist angle but certainly partisan. As Dr. Jha says people's opinion is based on which party they support. I'd agree that some of it is racist or at the very least anti-China. For another expert in this field you can try Dr. Michael Osterholm director of CIDRAP at U. of Minnesota.
