  1. In almost any other country in the world Trump and his minions would already be in jail. In many countries they would have already been executed. The answer to "WHY NOT?" is very simple. The founding fathers in response to how the British Authorities had behaved prior to and during the Revolution chose to do certain things. One of those is the first amendment that specifically protects the right to challenge the government for "redress of grievances." Other things include very narrow definitions of sedition and treason that makes it very hard to charge or convict anyone of those crimes, even when they are 100% without doubt guilty. People like Glenn Kirschner and Legal Eagle (both with YT Channels) and others have explained these things numerous times. The American Founding fathers wanted a nation free of all the issues that were entrenched in Europe. In granting that future to every American citizen they also created a system where, IF THEY CHOSE, American people would be free to elect a narcissistic sociopathic clown like Donald Trump and have him rip the system to shreds.
