@SeaTravelr123 Just so you know she's seriously UN-popular internationally. When she was UN Secretary she tried to bully the UN and waved her finger at everyone one day basically saying if you don't do what we want you'll pay for it. NOBODY HAS FORGOTTEN IT. So if (hypothetically) she won and tried to get international support for something she might get told to FK-OFF, because not only has everyone NOT FORGOTTEN her little outburst but NOBODY has FORGOTTEN that pile of lies the GOP said to get us into the invasion of Iraq.

You're absolutely right - saying she'd pardon Trump is not simply mental decline its mental breakdown. BUT SHE is 100% right saying that the party that moves on from the Baby Boomers and goes forward WILL WIN. I'm Australian and that's NOT simply an American thing either. Its true here in Oz. We get all the news out of Britain and Europe and its the same there. We get a lot of Asian news here as well and this is a recurring theme there as well. Western Society is at an inflexion point where the Baby Boomers are desperately holding onto power and just can't help themselves and refuse to let go. The problem is they haven't yet figured out that the following generations are so damn tired of them that we might just dump them in the gutter and be damn ugly about it.

@SeaTravelr123 Don't panic because ours aren't too much better. I genuinely believe that the BIG MONEY behind politics has deliberately made our political parties INEPT. If you consider that its in their financial best interest to have dumb politicians who do what's best for them then its pretty obvious why some of these clowns get nominated in the first place and then have the backing they get.

@ofdrumsandchords You're 100% right, but go look up a talk Prof Mark Blyth did in 2019 titled "Global Trumpism." After the talk there's a Q&A session which is worth watching. One of those question is about Bitcoin which is eerily accurate in a fashion. The better question is about Elizabeth Warren and her policies, that lead to a wider discussion on Joe Biden and Democrat strategy. Part of the issue then was the group you point out the GOP Never Trumpers. In 2020 the Dem Strategy was to get those GOP Never Trumpers to flip and vote Biden. The problem was NOBODY had any idea how many there were and it turned out that there were enough to beat Trump. This is the problem with Nikki Haley. Those GOP Never Trumpers are her base. If she wins the nomination (and it doesn't matter how) then those people will flip from Biden back to the GOP. The Trumpsters will take very little to vote for her as well. Sorry to the Democrats but Nikki Haley is their worst outcome if they continue with Biden.

@ofdrumsandchords Yeah agreed - If Trump is allowed to run she loses. I can't and I don't think anyone else can see how she beats Trump to the nomination. He just has a massive lock on his base who are motivated to turn up and vote. So unless Trump really does something stupid or gets banned her political career might be headed for the cliff edge De Sanctimonious and others have all jumped off already.
