I recommend that everyone go and watch the PBS Frontline documentary "League of Denial" where there are interviews with ex-NFL players who were later found to have chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE). Its available here on YouTube as are interviews Herschel Walker made in the past. I found one from around 6 years ago and its clear in that interview that he could form coherent sentences and discuss things with people far better than he can at present. I'm not medically qualified to judge his condition, but its clear that he's not functioning as well as he has in the past.
