I maintain a comment I made the other day that if Biden wanted to stomp on the GOP his first executive order would have been for the treasury to allow everyone to register a bank account using the SSN with the government and simply transfer the $2000. Its how the rest of the world does this stuff and it would save millions in printing and mailing costs. Seriously mailing checks - WTFU America its 2021.

  2. Because the Dems are almost as incompetent. They beat Trump but lost seats in the House. They didn't win the Senate outright, They lost seats and control or didn't get control of state houses. They promised the American public $2000 checks. Hello its 2021 and if people want their $2K why not go to the nearest federal office give your SSN, show some ID, sign a piece of paper and give them a bank A/C and BAZINGA $2000 in the account. ITS HOW THE REST OF THE DEVELOPED WORLD DOES IT. What's more many do it using American computer systems and software . DU-UH 🧏‍♂️🧏‍♀️

  3.  @connieb4372  Actually I'm Australian but went to college in America on a sports scholarship. So I do have a "horse in this race" in the form of my friends and the families and their future. Also like EVERY Australian, Canadian, Japanese, Brit and the rest of the Western World WE ALL HAVE A INTEREST IN AMERICA. I can tell you for a fact that these last few years have seen a lot of growing anger and frustration with American ignorance. The arrogance we can deal with but not the ignorance. I was actually working in Canada when Trump tore up NAFTA and imposed tariffs. That wont be forgiven easily. On top of that our nations have backed America time and time again. Every war and invasion we have backed - Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq and all the others. We knew Iraq was bullshit before it started, but we went because America asked. Australia (along with Scotland) hosts 2 of the 3 main US intelligence communication centers for the world (Colorado is the other). So we have nuclear weapons pointed at us for providing America with a major vital strategic asset. So when you (in your ignorance) ask if we have skin in the American game - yeah we f-cking do. We don't need America to lead what we do need is America to be a responsible nation and that responsibility needs to start at home in America. We know those $2k checks will go a long way to helping a lot of people who need that help at this moment and by helping the American people get past this mess it helps ALL OF US.
