  1. What America needs to accept is that it HAS held former leaders accountable before this - its just none of the were the leaders of America. Most famously they held the Nazi leaders accountable after WW2 and more recently Saddam Hussein who they handed over to an Iraqi puppet government run by America. In 2003 America offered a $2 million for the capture of ex-Liberian President Charles Taylor who was later captured and tried for his crimes. If you really want to go into American self righteousness with respect to other countries look at Reagans 1983 invasion of Grenada. Then there's the fact NOBODY at a senior level was ever held accountable for the atrocities of Abu Ghraib and other incidents in Iraq & Afghanistan. America is very good at holding foreign leaders accountable and pathetic at holding its own accountable.
