We just had a healthy 27 year old die suddenly in Australia from the Delta strain. He was on day 13 of a 14 day isolation. He was unvaccinated he was being monitored at home which we do in Australia for home quarantine. He suddenly just went down. That news is fresh its shocking. I'm Australian. YouTube and Twitter just banned a couple of clowns from our media and 1 sitting member of our parliament for posting false and misleading information. I know Sagaar Enjeti at Breaking points brought that up and he was WRONG on several key points. Kyle Kulinski also discussed that issue and he is also WRONG on several points. @teetee19700 I'm Australian I was in Canada a couple of years ago when they started looking into that stuff. It sounded similar to what we had with the stolen generation of indigenous Australians. New Zealand has just recognized some of their past with Pacific Islanders. The fact Canada & New Zealand are trying to deal with their pasts is a lot better than other nations still hiding from theirs.

@lizzettorres1111 Thanks for a sensible question. 1st thing he said that snapped my attention was a remark that Sky "maybe" didn't have the connections to Fox. That's simply wrong. I don't why he said that but Sky News Australia is a cornerstone of Rupert Murdoch's Newscorp along with Sky News UK and Fox. 2nd he made the bulk of his vid about free speech. I know Kyle's a staunch advocate of free speech even for people he disagrees with. But the YouTube and Twitter bans that were just put on Sky News Australia and one of our sitting members of Parliament Graig Kelly were and issue of public safety. It really has nothing to do with free speech and everything to do with public safety. Due to other countries like America consuming massive amounts of vaccine, which I don't have a problem with because America's need have been greater than ours. I went to college at U. Illinois and if I add up the population of Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin it adds to to almost the same number of people as Australia. Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin have over 48,000 dead we have just over 920. So its a no brainer America needed vaccines before we did. From that we have a quite low rate of vaccination, which was fine for many months, but right now we have Delta and its almost out of control. We are in a nation wide battle of whack-a-mole. For the first time in many months we are having people die again. We had 2 die on October 28. We had 3 during the 8+ months between November to mid July. We have had 15 deaths since mid July. Delta has busted our bubble and we don't have enough of our population vaccinated. @lizzettorres1111 I get where both Sagaar and Kyle are coming from. Sagaar's a right winger and he's just playing a light (but dangerous for his credibility) game hoping no one see's - oops to that. Kyle's a staunch free speech advocate, he's just picked the wrong case to argue this time. As for the misinformation clowns down here the backlash is only just starting. If people lie and spread nonsense and people get hurt or die there wont be any sympathy for them. People are already wound up from 18 months of COVID. If these clowns make themselves targets then it wont go well.

@LadyPinkster thanks for the thoughts but you guys are still in a lot of trouble. I've watched Dr. Michael Osterhom from CIDRAP ah U. Minnesota from the start and so far he's been more right than most others put together. He said from the outset we could expect 3-5 years for it to burn itself out. Sadly that's looking more accurate each day. His favorite saying is that "we aren't taming this tiger, we're riding it and it will do what it wants"
