  1. Yeah you are right but Pat Robertson was pretty much bang on right. God would reject America right now NOT because of others but BECAUSE of people like Pat Robertson. This is the bizarre thing about Christian Religious conservatives of any denomination - Jesus constantly condemned the conservatives of his day. The last 1/3rd of the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew ch7) is all about them and how they would be rejected. All through the Gospels Jesus condemned them for hypocrisy and for their greed and money laundering. He handed out free health care, free food and free education. By any basic measure Jesus was a Lefty progressive socialist. He just wasn't a maniac about it. He never said money is evil and that you can't own nice things, but what he did say was that greed and selfishness were bad and THAT was why they had the Romans kill him. If Jesus was alive right now and doing his thing in America the Pat Robertson brigade would do EXACTLY what the religious leaders did 2000 years ago. They'd get the secular government to take him out.
