  1. I know there's variations, but the saying basically goes: "The village idiot used to be confined to the village. Now thanks to social media all the village idiots can get together and share their stupidity across the world." I have seen so much stupidity just this last week that it should make anyone embarrassed to be part of the human race. I'm an aerospace engineer and I get asked every so often "If aliens exist where are they." Of late I tell people they are doing the following 2 things. 1: Hiding from us so there's no chance we will get our greedy fingers on their technology. 2: Working on a plan to contain us to this solar system so that we don't spread our stupidity across the cosmos.
