Trump was the first president in over 130 years to ORDER the execution of inmates during the lame duck period between the election and the swearing in of the next president. Trump may well have had the legal right to order those executions BUT he certainly did not have the moral or ethical right and depending on how that part of the Constitution reads he may well have violated their civil rights. If Biden were to use his executive discretion the way Trump did he could easily declare Trump a "threat to the nation" or "enemy of the state." I don; think that would be smart because it would send his supporters over the edge.
