@markprater1 Don't forget he called Mexicans drug dealers and rapists and then WON the Latino vote in Florida and other places. Trump was incredible at selling himself to various groups. We can call him all sorts of things but he was Gold medal at reading a room and flipping it to his advantage. Neither the GOP or DNC could handle it and too a certain extent still can't. Its also what makes him so dangerous. There's still 74 million who voted for him and think they were robbed and will believe almost anything he says. What if he has a genuine honest heart attack? What will 74 million conspiracy devotees do with that? America has a giant orange problem and its not going away anytime soon.

There's also a legal concept called "strict liability" that's also used in aviation law around the world. It means there is no such thing as an excuse or Mulligan or "I forgot" or pleading "I didn't know" or anything else. In almost any other country in the world he would have been charged and put in front of a judge no matter his political status. What the judge might do is arguable, but the airline, the airport security people they all would have dodged responsibility and handed it to a judge.

Next time drop the "white" reference. I get it but its the sort of remark that people are offended by. Other than its racist its also inaccurate as there are plenty of African Americans and Hispanics who voted Trump. This clowns skin color isn't relevant but his stupidity and actions are.

If anything as an elected official he should have been held to the highest of standards not given YET ANOTHER Mulligan.

@ThePunk01 I'm aware of that, but it still surprised a lot of people. The only person I heard warn about it was Chuck Roca the advisor from Sanders Campaign, who is Latino. He tried telling the Dems that there were different cultural groups within the Latino communities who had quite different views. Its one thing Trump exploited.
