  1. That's actually right on the mark. Further its not an American problem either. Here in Australia we have the same sort of garbage dominating our public discussions. We discuss EVERYTHING but practical solutions. The moment actual solutions start being mentioned the radicals on one side or the other start howling and screaming and overwhelm any sensible discussion. There was a great comment last year that basically went "Between the radical right and radical left who just scream at each other, the rest of us trapped in the middle are simply exhausted."
