  1. Look at the long long list of idiots and clowns already elected in every state and country in the world. Nobody should be surprised. I'm Australian and we get people this dumb in politics all the time. Sometimes because they are backed by a major party they even get elected. We suffer from people going into voting booths who vote for a party not for the candidate. Occasionally parties put up what we call "dummy candidates" in seats that party has almost no chance of winning just so they have someone campaigning in the electorate at a major election. Sometimes those candidates actually win and sometimes they turn out to be a lot of trouble. Sometimes those candidates go off script during the election and actually hurt the party which happened in our recent election. So America you are not alone in having clowns run for or getting into congress. The difference is most other parties reign in these people they don't cheer them on.
