Well then those people will have NOTHING. Because no matter what anyone wants those power stations will wear out and they will be turned off. As an engineer this utterly frustrates the hell out of me because this basic fact isn't in the discussion. Hazelwood and Liddell were turned off for the basic fact they were old and worn out and could not be kept running. Blame whoever you like for the lack of maintenance but its a fact they could NOT be kept running. The stupidity of the public discussion is that it never includes any engineers and you all of the DUMB CLOWNS in the media and the commentators and think tankers and celebrities wont be building you a new power station it will be engineers and tradesmen AND YOU CAN EITHER start to listen or stop complaining about your power bills.
