I absolutely agree David Speirs is (at times) among the worst of the smuggest arrogant interviewers. I think Noel Pearson has been one of the best among the 1st nations public figures for some time. I remember a few years ago when he openly said that native Australians had to stop seeing modern education and specifically math and science as "white man's stuff" and that education was a human thing.

YEAH and WTF are they biased about in this? A lot of people like you scream and rant about ABC bias. What about Murdoch media bias? What about Channel 7s bias? What about Channel 9s bias? What about Channel 10s bias?

@nephriteitsarock5377 That's a damn good answer - well said. Its about going FORWARD. If there is one thing I would have like to a have seen happen before now is a discussion with the Sami people of Scandinavia who were the first to get a voice to their parliaments in Norway, Sweden and Finland. I'd have 3 questions for them. 1 - What's worked? 2 - What hasn't worked and there's always something that didn't? 3 - What can we do to learn from their experience and get it right?

BIG LIE #1 There is no provision for the voice having any influence over non-aboriginal issues like the military. BIG LIE #2 There's the claim that once done the Voice cannot be undone and that's absurd because its claiming we can't change the constitution and yet this referendum is like every other referendum before it a means to change the constitution.
