  1. Aerospace Engineer here -> It means Trump wants Elon to do it. As if it wasn't obvious. There's a real tragedy to SLS too. It was a sound CONCEPT in that it was based on Space shuttle technology which should have made it reasonably easy to get done because there was lots of hardware that was already certified for manned space flight. However the program was badly CONCIEVED in that instead of being simple and straight forward they tried to re-engineer everything so that it could do all sorts of tasks. PLUS instead if re-using the main engines they became 1 use only which was incredibly stupid for engines design to be used many times. EVEN WORSE was how the program was managed. Scott did a video a couple of years ago on it and how they had 2 teams replicating each others work. It was a managerial disaster that should have been fixed years ago. Overall the SLS program SHOULD HAVE DELIVERED and BEEN AMAZING and we should have been back on the moon BEFORE 2010, but sadly its going to go down as one of NASA's worst managerial failures.
