We get the context of this in tafseer al jalalayn. Q1: Why his own companions started accusing rasulallah in the first place? Won't you think there is something fishy with the missing under garment? Q2: If allah was real god, he would have shown who stole the red velvet, instead of telling that rasulallah is not thi ef. Why can't allah reveal the actual culprit?
