In case of Jesus, he was testing the faith of the gentile woman. When she answered, Jesus liked her reply and healed her daughter. Read entire the chapter from the Bible. Don't copy paste from some dawah websites. Happy that you want to follow the teachings of Jesus. Jesus healed the daughter of that woman after testing her faith. You can test the faith of person and then heal that person. Can you do that?!!! By the way Jesus taught many other things - Love your enemies, pray for those who persecute you, etc., Please practice them to become a good human being.
