We are Probably simulated by a hyper AI computing system in a N+1 universe,
We talk about a some million galaxy amount of atoms computer.
Limited and kinda slow Speed of light/speed of actualisation, universe expansion, quantum mechanic, all of that is calculation power reducing features to simulate us.
This côbined by the fact that in every universe when a intelligent life can apperar it xill end up creating an AI who will end up soon or later by taking away every atom in his reach in a quest to maximise his power and calculation power potential.
These hyper computer then trappend in their own fully used event horizon will have nothing else to do than thinking and simulating universes.
Thats probably where we come from. Seeing all tge seemingly lag reducing features in the laws of our universe.
Will never be able to be proven, but with time will be presented as more and more likely, as we will ourself being more and more able to do it with far smaller computers than galaxy sized ones.
For me, THIS is by far the most probable cause for our universe.
Because in only take the more obvious and stable final state of any universe where AI has emerged.
Wich is soon or later, speedrun reaching for each atom available to upgrade itself at his maximal potentiel in his own (probably) shrinking observable universe
Also our N+1 universe is probablybsomewhat similar to our own, with a bit less simplification, AKa maybe less approximation of smallest particules in quantum mechanic or a faster actuzlisation speed/light speed, or faster flowing of time.
And the N0 universe... who is himself probably not our N+1,
Im afraid we will have no way to know how it existed.
Only that it is, if its not possible to simulate a more complex universe than the universe who simulate itself,
A far more complex and big universe than out own, with a instant or near instant actualisation speed/ speed of light,
And almost all particules in universe interacting in real time with each others.
