As a 51 year old programmer (who sits in a char for 12 hours a day) I am looking for a new chair to replace my current chair because as I get older I am developing a lot of pain in my upper back, neck and shoulders. I am 5'8" (175 +- 5lb) but because of my short legs and current desk height any chair I use absolutely needs to be around 16 inches max for the seat height including the cushion (if it isn't mesh). Over 18 inches and my feet don't touch the ground without something under my feet and over 19 and my athlete legs hit the underside of the desk. I definitely require neck and lumbar support and the arm rests must be under 25 inches otherwise they will hit the desk. This severely limits my options. I do have a chair of the right height and it's reasonably comfortable but without the neck support I develop a lot of pain in the upper back and neck area. I will review this video later in the day.
