  2. I have thought about this even on ICE vehicles as I use the engine to slow me down most of the time and only press the brake pedal when necessary. In my wife's car the cvt transmission slows the car quite a bit if I completely remove my foot from the gas.

  3. I think a worse problem in the USA is people don't always use their turn signals.

  4. I have some very slow warmup CFLs in my 2 story foyer with stars. I installed the bulbs close to 2 decades ago and they still work but they are very annoying because you can easily traverse the stairs and catwalk before the lights are warmed up and before they are warmed up the illumination isn't that great at all..
