  1. i'm currently "scouting" in Panama. i was in Costa Rica last month, and I'll visit different cities in Mexico in April. Finally, I want to scout Portugal, Columbia and Peru in the fall. At this point, Panama is the most attractive because of their very generous Pensionado retirement visa and easy pathway to residency, low cost but high quality health care, friendly people, laid-back culture, use of the US dollar and close proximity to US.
