His response to everything that made him uncomfortable was to deflect and just would fall back on the "can't we just learn from and accept each other" kumbaya-type language. If Danielle had not been sitting there, he he would not have been able to adequately represent himself as an advocate for the transgender community. Look how uncomfortable he was with questions about his own children. He's just misguided, like a lot of people, In believing that he's being inclusive and progressive By aligning himself with the Transgender Community. And danielle just can't help contradict herself when Candice challenges this concept of an objective reality being about how people feel. And when presented with other examples of people changing their realities, she says, oh yeah, that's not right, but that's not analogous to my situation. Well done Candace.
