  13. But look at where the money is spent. I read the Chicago school budget. $6.4 billion $274 million spent on core education. The budget had 7 pages talking about pensions. 1/2 page regarding core education.

  14. In BC since Jan 2020, if you showed up unconscious and over 70 they'd put you in a medical coma and starve you to death. 5 families I know fought like hell and the person was fine. I also have friends whose family decided the doctor knows best. So hard to bite my tongue

  27. You mean people listened? I have 2 friends who were on Discovery shows. One wrote a book regarding how fake the shows are. Basically a behind the scenes expose. While reading his book people straight up told me that they “don’t want to hear about it being fake”. People don’t want reality. They want their biases confirmed.

  42. We had a stupid scale that was the teacher deciding if you are trying hard enough. If they didn’t like you, you got a low score, because you could have worked harder. If you were a BS artist, you’d get high scores because “you’re trying” I can’t remember what the scores were but it was basically - works to their potential - could work harder - doesn’t even try.
