  6.  @DC-gh6dy  exactly. I don’t know any mother who doesn’t have a can or 2 of formula around. It’s handy. You have a cold and are taking cough medicine? Formula. Hubby covers a late night feeding? Formula.

  7. Oh FFS He’s the one obsessing about alpha beta gamma? But the debunking of the wolf study has been debunked. The debunkers were just dog trainers freaking out about the alpha training idea. And I have dealt with Alpha dogs, they’re not fun. They challenge you at every turn. Betas are better, but they tend to decide to step up if you’re weak and you have the same problems, except you’re sick when they do this. Gammas are great, so are Omegas. They’re perfectly happy being your pet. My heart dog was a complete omega. He loved being a puppy parent. Watching the Rottweiler being swarmed by a bunch of toy breed puppies was hilarious. But a puppy yelped and all play stopped until he checked everyone to make sure they were all okay.

  12.  @BGRecon  I’ve done the old Atkins which is basically meat & fibre (net carbs = sugars & starch) it’s good, you lose a lot of weight, but you’re right it’s expensive.

  14.  @orangescrubb3390  yes it has meaning. I love studying the social interaction of animals. These “I AM ALPHA” types remind me of young gorillas. They’re so tough, beating their chests, roaring, acting tough, until the silverback (actual alpha) walks into the clearing. Then all of a sudden they’ve got 101 more important things to do like picking nits.
