  1. This is Vancouver Canada, but left coast is left coast. If the owner wants to build a new building, letting the squatters burn it to the ground is cheaper than bulldozing. If the squatters burn it down, then insurance will cover the cleanup. Also in Vancouver, if you do kick them out, they'll come back anyway. And my cousin tried to trespass people off his farm and the cops brought in social workers to make sure everyone was jabbed and that they had decent tents.
