  1. "I'm not sure. I don't know if I'll ever know..." Is becoming a more and more common sentiment for me the older I get. Don't get me wrong, the Church is the Church, the Faith is the Faith. But I feel increasingly uncertain about so much of life on the broader level. I wonder sometimes if it's a sort of religious PTSD from my discovery of Orthodoxy. I was a born and bread Protestant. Raised in church, attended Bible school and was living on the mission field when I encountered Orthodoxy. It shook my world up. It was an existential crisis for me on multiple levels. I've settled in now, 9 years on from being received into the Church, but I definitely walk with a limp from that encounter.
