  1. Great review, Clifford! I really like what Toyota has done to the RAV4, but is it true that there’s no mechanical connection powering the rear tires, it’s strictly electric power? Since this is only a hybrid and not a PHEV, it’s easy to run down the small battery while driving up to the ski slopes and only be left with front wheel drive? Subaru has kept their drive shaft on their new hybrid model, because they never wanted to loose their all wheel drive.
