  1. Cerro Gordo had a flash flood through the narrow canyon that the dirt road up to their town is built on. It is completely washed out down to bedrock. It’s a county road, but they were told eleven weeks, I don’t know if that’s to complete or maybe just to start? Cerro Gordo is above the east side of Owens Lake, now dry because of the Los Angeles Aqueduct. Watch their YouTube channel “Ghost Town Living”.
