Tesla was very hands on back in the beginning before they had to be profitable. If Rivian can stay with what they are doing now it will be amazing!

That was incredible! Now you’ve got to get everyone to install some battery storage, because it’s awful to radiate the power away, just like a diesel/electric train.

There is no throttle, Kyle. But, Kyle, I’ve never seen a more experienced driver than you! You know exactly what feels and what is not right. You are the real deal, Kyle!
31
I am really excited with you, Kyle! I can feel your energy from my home in San Francisco!
26
Kyle, I would love to see laser headlights as they are meant to work, without USA regulations ruining them, at 300 kph on the Autobahn! Thank you so much for your excellent channels on YouTube.
21
Kyle is always about ripping it in the canyons, but many of us don’t drive like his group of employees do. I want really comfortable and supportive seats, precise and heavy steering that doesn’t wander about, a comfortable and easy to modulate accelerator pedal and a brake pedal that is not over sensitive. I love one pedal driving, but not everybody does, so it has to be adjustable. For its great features I love my 2018 Red/Black Model 3 with its rich looking polished chrome or polished stainless trim.

I hope that they reduced their huge mess of thermal pipes.
14
Jordan, I think that you are fantastic in front of the camera and it's refreshing to not have to look at someone who wears a huge sweatshirt no matter how hot or cold the weather might be!
11
So many BEV choices in Germany and it’s great to see people taking advantage of their PHEV’s. That’s what happens when it’s expensive to fill up your car.
10
I would love to own one of these trucks!
10
The ID.4 is a beautifully designed car, in my opinion.
9
These are vehicles that I would only consider leasing.
8
Jordan, if I see that you are in front of the camera I know that it is going to be a great video!
7
@OutofSpecReviews That’s why you are so awesome!
6
Remind me to never get into the same car as any Out of Spec employee, because they all love to carve canyons and I get motion sickness and start throwing up until it’s over.
5
@brandenflasch It took decades to get rid of the horrible sealed beam headlights. They made sense in the old days before quartz halogen bulbs and better reflectors.
4
@FarhoodEnsan , it’s incredible how ridiculous their posts can be. I remember that someone would claim that they invested in crypto with a particular person, then 25 more messages from people who also made money with this person. I haven’t seen one of those fake trees in a while.
4
Excellent point Branden! Are you seeing an increase in traffic at CCS chargers now that there are so many EV’s to buy, other than Teslas? Thank you so much!
4
@aussie2uGA You are 100% correct!
4
I would remove the center rear headrest if it's possible, because it really blocks the view.
4
The man was really excited to meet his YouTube hero and to be in an Out of Spec video! I would've hung around myself, but I would've asked if it was alright for me to stay. They were in a public place after all.
3
Kyle, you knew exactly what to test and how it should feel! Thank you so much for this incredible test drive and share.
3
@newscoulomb3705 Excellent points! I have a friend that did a coast to coast trip in his Mustang MachE. He got to know a lot of WalMarts, but had no troubles. If millions of nonTesla EV’s hit the roads, there will be trouble. The US government will pay for CCS chargers before that happens.
3
Branden is an awesome YouTuber! I’ve been following his channel for quite a while and I’ve never been disappointed. I am really happy to find him here on your channel, Kyle!
3
@OutofSpecReviews Governments need to subsidize the cost difference to get things going. It makes sense when the ore is above you, you go uphill empty and loaded downhill. You get to climb for free!
3
The typical playbook for these companies so that they can pretend to be affordable. Porsche is even worse, charging extra for painted or auto folding mirrors on incredibly expensive cars. It will take the Government to mandates before things are included. My niece leased or purchased a Mercedes C class sedan and discovered that there was no backup camera when she got home and tried backing into her parking space. You expect certain things, but don't get them until they are mandated.

This channel is just becoming like every other media outlet that just goes from media event to media event. I don’t find them unbiased any longer because they have to make money and they won’t get all of these cool invitations if they don’t play the game.

@brandenflasch I live on top of a steep hill, so I got dinged for hard braking. If I had gone done in neutral with the car turned off, I wouldn’t of been dinged, but I might’ve crashed instead!
2
Track features are for the track. Tesla would've been able to tell the police what mode you were in when driving on a public street. I don't understand why these guys are laughing,
2
No one ever complains about not having a speedometer in front of them in a Prius. Maybe it’s because they never have to look at it?
2
@newscoulomb3705 Can we blame it on supply shortages, because there are so many models to choose from? I used to watch your BOLT videos all of the time.
2
@OutofSpecReviews I know that you’ll love demonstrating them at over 180 mph!
2
@brandenflasch That’s right! Sorry, I had my geography messed up.
2
That turn signal sound was like a chicken clucking.
2
@shankhadeepshome3982 Kyle has completely sold out to those that give him vehicles to drive for long periods. How well does this work on everyday roads that are not digitized and what happens when a mapped road has a slight change? Based on it DOMINATING, it must be fantastic in every circumstance possible?
2
Exactly!

@Dany Bougie We have a lot of mountains in the USA state that I live in, so range can really be affected. We don’t have a French Canadian 🇨🇦 winter 🥶, so I cannot speak to how that affects range. It would be really difficult to tow a camper around the western USA as distances are quite vast. Most of the very expensive, high trim level trucks that I see are ones that have replaced the traditional family station wagon and 300 miles or 500 kilometers of range would be more than enough, especially if it uses Tesla’s Supercharger network.

@TheUrbanSplash He brought his Jazz luxury duo sleeping bag with him!
1
@TheUrbanSplash I have no doubt about that, but someone wanted color choices. It doesn’t really matter, it’s not a comforter for your master bedroom!

I test drove a Model Y and the seat is too high for me to get comfortable because my thigh nerves get pinched at the front of the seat cushion. I’m positive that I had it at the lowest position possible. I am having knee problems and I love the Model Y’s higher stance but I can’t lower the seats enough because they are mounted on high cast stands.
1
@brandenflasch Thank you Branden!

This is incredible! I wish that I had a 3 phase high amperage option at my house!

Are any of these Califonia cars driving home to Los Angeles from Giga Austin?
1
I would be so carsick, please give me a seasick bag!

43:24 I have seen Tesla branded Type 2, 240volt chargers in Yosemite National Park replaced by Rivian’s same type of chargers. They had a big sign telling people how Rivian is bringing charging to National Parks. I saw the same thing in Yellowstone.

My niece’s husband has the first year MachE and he loves the car but he feels like a Guinea Pig when it comes to their software and electronics. He definitely did not want a Tesla, so their other electric car is a Mercedes GLB with some numbers after that. They have two hard wired charging stations, solar panels with battery backup. Their holidays are places that they fly to or they are close enough to drive to and maybe there’s valet parking with charging included.

@susihormon7821 That is really interesting, Susi. Thank you so much for sharing.
1
Jordan, you have an awesome boss there in Kyle! Imagine if you were telling your dad what happened because you were on Track Mode while driving on the streets?
