I’m so sorry for what your family is going through health wise. You are one incredible family and I wish you all only the best.

These rebates/tax credits were created to encourage people to buy electric cars, in my opinion they are plenty encouraged. Franchised dealerships will just add on more dealer markups and the direct sellers will just raise their prices. Spend these billions of dollars to help Tesla expand their Superchargers so much that all electric cars can use them.

Many people are waiting for Rivian’s smaller and cheaper vehicles.

Why was the Cybertruck parked at the semi’s loading dock?
13
Not a Tesla, so the news does not care!
13
I absolutely dread the thought of having to go to a franchised dealership for my second electric car! I get extremely anxious for over a week after experiencing the horror of negotiating and second guessing myself for the feeling of getting ripped off at a franchised dealership! I would love to consider buying a Ford Mustang MachE, but I will wait until the supply catches up with the demand. I realize that Teslas prices keep going up, but everyone pays the same price.
11
How are EV losses calculated? Do they include the price of the new factory in each vehicle sold?

I love my Model 3, but it’s only two of us and it was ordered on the first hour of the first day and we’ve had it since August 2018. Today I would probably drive a Model Y because it’s getting hard for me to get in and out of a low car and the resale will be better in the long run for the Model Y. I just don’t like the poor visibility out of the hatchback. It would be great to have a virtual rear view camera mirror.

Sandy Munro has warned about this for years!

@nerdbikes3841 Billions and billions spent to subsidize big oil in the world!
7
Sam, you are a smart man with a great eye for what looks good!
7
I love one pedal driving! Why would I want to have to push the brake pedal to engage regeneration?
7
You led Mary and it matters!
6
I would love to see a Model S/X style instrument panel in the Models 3/Y!
5
Cadillac’s EV Lyric is also assembled in Mexico 🇲🇽!
5
Does everyone think that they can just sit at a keyboard or in front of a camera and be “influencers” for a few hours as their source of income? Why not be an anarchist as your full time job?
5
Toyota and Lexus are still telling customers that their hybrids are self charging. My friend just purchased a Lexus version of the RAV4 PHEV (NX—-+) and they told her that she doesn’t have to plug it in because it charges itself. Maybe they were talking about regenerative braking? Who knows?
5
Has he taken millions from the company like that guy who was pushing hydrogen and he purchased the most expensive place in Utah.
5
GM is leading the world in EV’s because of Mary!
5
Rivian + Bozos = Trouble 👿
5
The MachE is worth paying full retail price, but most are paying at least $5,000 to $10,000 US Dollars more than that. I know two people that own and love/like them.
4
It’s really too bad because the ID4 is a beautiful car, on the outside.
4
I constantly see YouTubers whining, “Elon promised” a 500 mile range and seating for six adults, while they just ignore every other accomplishment. Four years ago we saw a one off prototype, so how could Elon know exactly what it would do?
4
Huge wire harness shortage because they were made in Ukraine
3
@icosthop9998 Tesla is going down this path already so why not let the US Government help to pay the way for everyone to charge without waiting? I’m afraid that we will hear a call to breakup the Tesla monopoly on having the only decent charging network. I’m probably insane, but who knows at this point?
3
They say that hydrogen is cleaner, especially if it’s from petroleum! Only Toyota and Honda lease/sell hydrogen powered cars!
3
Does anyone know if Ultium is groundbreaking or just marketing?
3
Ford EV’s are available in the USA if you are willing to pay the Ransom that Ford’s franchised dealerships are asking. For the right price the dealership will put you at the front of the line.
3
I sat in these new seats in San Francisco, Califonia and they feel fantastic! I would buy this car just to get those incredible seats!
3
The USA has 50 states including Alaska and Hawaii.
2
Solid state batteries are a joke at this point in time, but in the future, who knows what will dominate!
2
GM Altium is a meaningless advertising slogan, in my opinion. The only thing that I’ve seen is that the cars share a huge battery pack that through bus bars, lot of battery modules can be added, including a double decker like in the Hummer EV. What is the advanced technology?
2
Any of them make more sense than the ridiculously overpriced, sitting outside, Archimoto!
2
@mikafiltenborg2291 MSRP does stand for manufacturers suggested retail price. Tesla sells directly to the buyer, so they keep raising prices until demand drops. Tesla gets the benefits, not a dealership.
2
@catinthehat906 I felt so sorry for all of those people that had to turn their EV1’s in for destruction. I used to see several of them in San Francisco.
2
I kept waiting for you to say that it is the button on the left stalk, because my 2018 Tesla Model 3 works the same way. Push the Park button in and hold it in and it is going to trigger an emergency stop, just as one would expect it to do. The left stalk's button triggers a windscreen wash. Hold it in firmly and it will keep washing and wiping until you release the button. Push it in and release it and you will get a short wash and wipe sequence. I don't know where else that you would like to have an emergency stop trigger?
2
Lucid, except that I hate that tiny boot opening! I already own a Tesla Model 3 and it’s the perfect size for me.
2
My niece has a MachE and she loves it! Another friend did a cross the USA in his MachE and loves it as well. I think that it’s best and with Tesla charging it’s perfect. I prefer Ford’s navigation system as it’s onboard maps will work without cell service, Tesla’s does not. I know this from experience.
1
@melvinholland9656 Exactly!
1
@incognitotorpedo42 Give everyone a steering wheel!
1
@aeromtb2468 Yes, many millions are waiting for R3 and R4 variants.
1
@ArtSnow-p9p The engines are getting smaller, but they are turbocharging them.
1
Mazda has had inventory during the shortage. Is there a CX30? Because my sister just got something with a 30 in it. They already have a Model 3 Dual Motor.
1
Wow!
1
@robertfonovic3551 How did you know?
1
@4literv6 If people actually get to pocket some money from the rebates/credits, it is only going to make matters worse, imho.
1
32 Mustang MachE’s in stock, 9 in transit! I can’t believe it! This is the San Francisco, Califonia dealership! I bet that they still won’t discount.

Tesla doesn’t use an automatic sensor like “everyone” else does. Tesla wants to do everything with their cameras. Thank you for being one of the only YouTubers to talk about this. I don’t know if Tesla can fix this. Tesla got rid of ultrasonic bumper sensors and that sucks as well. I read that Tesla is so cheap that even an outside temperature sensor is too expensive and they will go to over the air local weather stations instead of telling us the exact temperature at our cars. My Tesla is a 2016 Model 3 Dual Motor, so I am not just someone who is telling bad stories without having any knowledge. Sam, you are truthful and awesome!
1
Sam, have you heard that President Biden might activate the war powers to help increase the supply of the metals needed to produce batteries? Obviously this will only benefit legacy USA manufacturing that uses only United Auto Workers union employees! I hope that this doesn’t happen. They also want to make gasoline and diesel cheaper by eliminating the taxes on these products. Why not encourage Americans to buy more fuel efficient vehicles instead of a giveaway program that really just benefits the highest profit margin vehicles?
1
The general public and the news media only think that Teslas catch on fire. Poll most Americans that are not EV owners and you will find out that I am correct and it’s extremely unfortunate.
