We citizens are paying the price. They are wiping away competitors or buying them out ! Monopolize communication industry, cable and phones companys. Now prices for cable is completed out of control !!!! Prices should be controlled like a utility .....insurance industry is just another example of out of control, huge profits ! absolutely no regulations on costs ... If you look at all major cities, some of biggest skyscraper are owned by insurance industry..profits comes first !!

  23. Well you are half right, the insurance industry is it's own company, but is regulated by the states. The insurance industry has been deceptive as long as there's been insurance !! The insurance company owns all lot of skyscraper in America and abroad ,because there profits were great...now not so much

Corporations are running the show by buying their competitors to take over and have the control ! Right now, two of the largest grocery stores, Kroger and Alberton, are trying to get control of the grocery business in over 22 states, which is a very bad idea for consumers . When you buy a company someone has to pay the price, we the consumers are the ones who pay the bill ! Mergers and acquisitions are not good for consumers ,look at what it has done to the insurance industry !!!

Now it's become one of the most popular places to live !!!! In America, so as a result, we have to grow and adapt to current situations!!! Hopefully are state leaders will do the right thing, and are learning from the mistakes that California and Texas and other, what to do and not do !! It's not a easy task !!
