So no problem then,! 😮

We can't colonise Mars. Even Elon Musk says "we can't get through the great filter" Basically means we don't have the technology for interplanetary existence. So rule Mars out, and we are still stuck here on earth. 😢

The mines are where the deposits are. You can't just magic up a lithium deposit! You have completely missed the point. 😢

@stijn2644 No Europe does not! 😢

@Cheka__ when I try to talk to my sister about such things, she says don't burst my bubble! What she doesn't understand is that her bubble is already burst.

Norway is probably the only country that is geared up for EV's your infrastructure was already set up for electricity, it makes sense. But not for other places on earth.

Volkswagen billions € in debt but to name one. Thousands of electric cars unsold. Something will give and soon! But our so called elite don't care as long as they can stay in their ivory towers 😢

For info Only 200 companies and they say capacity to recycle, they don't say if they are up to that capacity, and most of them are in China! Are we going to send lithium batteries from all around the world to china? How is that green. 😮 In November 2023, more than 200 businesses had the capacity to recycle over 1 million metric tons of lithium-ion batteries per year. China is the world's largest battery recycling market, accounting for 75% of capacity in 2024.

Also, the Scandinavian countries historically have hydro power due to it's geology. Hydropower = electric. So the Norwegians and Sweeds have built up their infrastructure to suit their natural resources. The rest of the world doesn't have the same resources as the Scandinavian countries.

@clintonmccool2330 Just said same regarding Norway's infrastructure it's been created entirely differently due to it's geography, geology etc. And yes scale is highly relevant. 👍🌅

@zendograilseeker Thanks for the stats. Good to know. But what are you trying to tell us?

The problem is energy itself. The most energy dense method of extraction and creation of the locked up energy is oil, gas and coal, (catch 22) and nuclear of course. Good luck with nuclear cars. 😢

I'm not picking that up from the comments, most are saying green is not good, and at least they are saying it's not a complete solution. I genuinely believe people get the story, but like most of us, don't really know what to do about it. 😢

@hugolafhugolaf Even then all that concrete! 😢
1
Not won't do, but can't do for the reasons mentioned in this video. 😢 We need

When did you ever drive a million kilometres? When did anyone ever drive a million kilometres? Second hand EV's depreciation almost 70% so hardly any second hand sales in order to do that million kilometres you speak of. You're calculations don't work in the real world.

@hendrikdejong4580 Because the politicians didn't want to know the dark side. They just keep taking the money 😮

@hugolafhugolaf @Solarwind907 is probably a paid troll! 😮

@twig3288 yes!

@hotchihuahua1546 Agree, I have owned a diesel car since it was built in 2008 and it has features on it that I never use. All those plastic switches, all those copper cables, never being used! I'm sure I'm not the only one. Also I'm being pressured to buy a new car because 2008 is classified as old! I know a guy who has kept his car on the road for 300,000 miles. Only mechanics will be able to do that soon and even then legislation and price of components will force them to buy new. 😮

@rtrtrt-1ikj But as we saw from the video, 100% green energy is actually a lie 😢

Cities grow because people congregate where the work is. All that will happen is the people will move to where the production is. 12:30 😢
