  6. One of the take aways was the vital need to grow the economy or face economic collapse from debt. Yet, I didn't hear anything advocated about reducing debt. I heard several programs mentioned, but each was marginalized as being insignificant reductions to our growing debt. Bottom line: We must grow the economy so we can afford more debt because we can't get reelected and our lobbyists will be unhappy if we make spending cuts.

  12. It's simple. They won't answer because they know Biden is guilty. If the evidence proved him innocent the DOJ and the FBI would release or leak it (just like they do when they have information they think will damage Trump) and it would be all over the Main Stream Media and cable news channels. They're not afraid of the Senate Republicans because the Democrats control the Senate and the DOJ. The DOJ answers only to the US Attorney General, Democrat Merrick Garland, and Garland answers to Democrat President Joe Biden. By answering questions, and if that answer is untruthful, they risk prosecution when the Administration is controlled by Republicans. Their best strategy is to dodge questions, talk in circles and stall so as to run out the clock, waiting to hear the Democrat Chairman Senator Dick Durbin say, "The Gentleman's time has expired". The "show" of the hearing is not pointless. It is for all of us who care about what is happening in government to witness the hypocrisy of those who stonewall and refuse to answer and that we should recognize their guilt.

  18. When your entire country is an island with a relatively small population living on the coasts, immigration control and gun control are both easier. We in the US will not give up our guns because we know the criminals, the crazies and the cartels will not be giving up their guns no matter what laws are passed. Among the worst laws ever to be passed in the US are Gun Free Zones. Those zones are death traps for innocent, law abiding people and a small taste of what would become of the entire country if guns were banned nationwide.
