  7. I wish Americans finally stopped calling leftists Liberals. They are not liberals. Progressives maybe, but not liberals. In fact, they are very illiberal. Progressives and liberals are incompatible on several issues, for example free speech (progressives against, liberals pro).

  11. Parker thought he was so smart when in fact he was just annoying. And yes, he was constantly pulling red herrings, not reductio ad absurdum. Trying to divert from the original question or claim is indeed a red herring.
