It is also usual when a country, including the UK, holds such a huge referendum with such ramifications to not carry the motion without a TWO-THIRDS majority. Currently 48% are not represented. And in fact a large number who voted for Brexit have realised they were scammed. I'd guess that a majority of the UK wishes Brexit had never happened. I fear Starmer has an authoritarian streak, a not uncommon issue with some Labour politicians, and also that the likes of the Tony Blair Institute have too much influence.
