The problems with capitalism are for example the paper lunacy that caused the 2008 and 1929 crashes, cartels, and the dead hand of shareholder-owned companies. The job of government is to protect the people from the depredations of predatory shareholder owned corporations and their shell game of endless paper derivatives of derivatives of endlessly complicated wheels within wheels. Money in today's world is just paper and as we've seen with covid, suddenly huge amounts of money can be magicked into existence by governments. All that "balance the budget" stuff is just hot air. "God" didn't create money, or anthropogenic climate change or many other problems that beset the world, We did. The Earth is a closed system, and endless growth is not the answer. Human rights around the world haven't come from banks or corporations have they? In any sensible world, there needs to be basic free healthcare, a guarantee of being fed and housed, freely available birth control, free and high quality basic education. Why would you "hand all resources to the state"? - that's a strawman fallacy and you know it. Do as you would be done by is the Golden Rule, not fuck them before they fuck you sweetheart.

Flat earthers, anti-LGBT & anti-equality types, anti-vaxxers, covid deniers, the whole 9 yards. Especially the claims of censorship, "THEM!" and of course "Do your own research". The "truth" is in plain sight. Anything that is anti-love, pro-hate, pro-greed etc etc is the problem. Hunger, homelessness, disease, a lack basic of education, are all obvious problems that need fixing. All the rest is nonsense. We must love one another or die.

I am a former IT pro and believe me, the "but it used to take years" argument isn't taking into account the huge leaps humanity has made in science and tech. Actually saying "I've had it and I'm fine" is rational. It means I have performed an experiment and those are the results. I know of many older people who have had both vaccines. I don't know of anyone who has had a problem. Your argument is fallacious because it is not based on any knowledge of vaccines or virology, just rehashed talking points

  44.  @Hrafnsmerki1  I 100% agree with all your points. I recently had a discussion about coffee with a couple of people in their 50s about this (I am 58). I was telling them how I'd seen advice not to drink coffee past lunchtime if you need to get up for work early as it will disturb your sleep. They both claimed that "coffee doesn't do anything to me" and said they could drink coffee just prior to bed and it made no difference, despite all the evidence that this is poor sleep hygiene. I said that this indicated that they were addicted and highly tolerant. I asked them what happened if they didn't drink coffee, and they said that they felt tired and got headaches! As you said, people have these artificial distinctions between coffee, alcohol, sugar( the real cause of cholesterol blocking veins as the body attempts to repair the damage done by sugar) and "illegal drugs" but they're all chemicals which affects us, and denying they do makes their effects worse. The UK government have passed a ridiculous law that essentially says "any chemical that has a psychoactive effect is automatically illegal". This includes natural plants like indigenous mushrooms and herbs. It turns out that low doses of psilocybin and also ketamine have been found to help with severe depression, also CBD and THC's effects are well know and documented. My goodness how I detest hypocrisy of this sort!
