@scrotiemcboogerballs6400 My family has lived in CA for 120 years and all my relatives are here. Part of me wants to go. But whenever you leave, there are always a ton of unanticipated problems. In CA, we have mild earthquakes, not tornadoes, tsunamis, 6 month long winters, etc... These might all be worse problems then CA.

@jimmywang2041 California... but you can't escape to Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, or Arizona.

@scrotiemcboogerballs6400 Yeah, and the highest taxes, and we're still 20 billion in debt. There is a for sale sign on every block. It was an amazing state 10 years ago... now it's like a Mad Max Movie.

@scrotiemcboogerballs6400 Yeah, I've always lived here. Yeah, we get paid more, but the cost of living is a lot higher. A 3br house is 1.3 million. We could go to almost any other state and retire.

@jimmywang2041 I've been living off of the stock market for 13 years. I love the weather in the Bay Area. But the taxes, ridiculous laws and restrictions, and the fires are making this place almost unbearable. The API Index is 233 right now... and over 150 is unhealthy.

@jimmywang2041 If I leave CA today, I can retire forever, travel the world, etc... I love national parks and the weather here. But they have been on fire or locked down since March, so what's the point in staying here? I have family here, so I guess that is what is keeping me in CA.
