  1. Not a scientist: It could be said that in higher dimensions outside the physical universe there is no space, no gravity and no time. One way to look at space time in four dimensions including time is linear like a cassette tape accessible linearly but where events in a specific reality exist simultaneously. Whilst five dimensions could be a disc such as DVD or Blu-ray where all events in a particular reality exist and can be accessible randomly though all events exist simultaneously. It could be that higher dimensions have all events and possibilities occuring and existing simultaneously. Time would appear to move more slowly in dimensions with greater frequency and energy than lower dimensions. Therefore as a physical dimension in the current universe with four dimensions that is losing energy would from the perspective of higher dimensions appear to rapidly increase the passage of time towards the end of the physical universe due to dark matter.
